The Communion of Saints
Dear Friends in Christ our King,
Blessed Feast of All Saints! These holy souls in heaven are the citizens of the eternal Kingdom of God and make up the Church Triumphant, where they rejoice with Christ our King in His eternal glory! They also intercede for us on earth as we who make up the Church Militant continue to "fight the good fight" for the greater glory of Christ our King and the salvation of souls.
Tomorrow, November 2, we commemorate all the faithful departed, who do not yet enjoy the Beatific Vision face to face. They need our prayers and sacrifices to help purify their souls from the effects of sin and enter into eternal life with God.
These good souls, having died in the state of sanctifying grace, are in purgatory, and they make up the Church Suffering. This month, in communion with all the saints of heaven, let us pray for them all by having the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass offered for the repose of their souls so that once in heaven, they may help us get there too!
We assure you of our continued prayers for you and your loved ones, both living and deceased, this November at our U.S. Provincial Headquarters in Chicago.
May Christ our Holy Infant King bless you for all you do for His greater glory!

Sisters Adorers Open their
First Convent in the USA!
Today, on All Saints Day, the Sisters Adorers of the Royal Heart of Jesus are opening their first American convent in Wausau, Wisconsin. Monsignor Gilles Wach, the Institute's Prior General, along with Canon Matthew Talarico (U.S. Provincial Superior) and Mother Madeleine Marie (Mother Superior) will greet His Excellency, Bishop William P. Callahan (Bishop of La Crosse) this morning at the new convent, where he will bless the chapel and officially open our sisters' first house in the USA!

Project Updates

The Provincial Shrine
Phase II continues on the Provincial Shrine of Christ the King as the MEP engineering plans are finalized.

Canon Matthew Weaver, the Institute's U.S. Provincial Secretary and Project Manager of the Capital Campaign helps excavate the basement of the Shrine.
New block windows were installed at the Provincial Headquarters & Priory.
Overgrown volunteer trees have been cleared to provide for a new parking facility to prepare for the many pilgrims this Shrine to Christ our King.
A brand-new TPO roof was completed on the Institute's Provincial Priory building, replacing a leaky 70-year-old cement flat roof.

The Institute's U.S. Provincial Headquarters & Shrine Campus
The once-unfinished basement of the original historic church is being excavated to build the new storage and community spaces, as well as the new restroom facilities for the future Shrine.
This week, they will begin insulating the Shrine's massive 20,000 sq. ft. ceiling with 4" of closed-cell spray foam for efficient and cost-effective insulation.

The Provincial Priory & Headquarters Campus
In addition to work on the future Shrine, work is being done on the Provincial Headquarters Campus!
This is where Canon Talarico and his provincial assistants live and work to help administer to the entire Institute family nationwide.
Additionally, these facilities (owned by the Institute) are leased to the Institute's apostolate in Chicago for the care of souls in the area.

The next project on the Provincial Priory is to replace the 40-year-old aluminum windows with new, thermal pane windows to save on utilities and add some warmth to the curbside as well!
