Transforming Union with Christ
Dear Friends in Christ our King,
This week, we will see the Church rejoice in the Most Holy Eucharist, the greatest and most lovable of the sacraments, in which Our Lord Jesus Christ remains truly present among us in all the tabernacles of the world!
Though our senses perceive only bread and wine, faith holds firmly to Christ’s own words: “This is My Body” and “This is My Blood.” Hidden as He once was in the womb of the Virgin and beneath the veil of His humanity, Christ now hides Himself beneath the appearances of bread and wine so that He may be loved in faith, hope, and charity until the day when we shall behold Him face to face in eternal glory.
In the Eucharist, Jesus gives Himself entirely to us. Holy Communion is the divine banquet in which the soul receives the Author of all grace and is nourished by His very life. Christ comes as the most loving and generous of lovers, pouring into faithful souls His purity, holiness, love, and peace. So, the altar becomes the place of the most intimate union between God and our soul, where we find the only possession that truly satisfies: God Himself!
Yet to receive these abundant fruits, let us approach the altar with proper dispositions: devotion, humility, modesty, and a sincere offering of our entire life to God. At every Mass, we are called to unite ourselves to Christ’s sacrifice and to renew the offering of ourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing unto God.
Holy Communion therefore becomes a profound and transforming union with Christ, awakening in our soul an ardent longing for the day when the Eucharistic veil will fall away. Then, we shall contemplate forever the unveiled glory of God in joyous life in Heaven!

2026 Holy Hill Pilgrimage
The Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest united with thousands of pilgrims from around the world in praying for the restoration of Christendom during the annual Pentecost pilgrimage to the Basilica of Our Lady Help of Christians in Wisconsin on May 23. These pilgrims formed a “Guardian Angel” group, participating in all the spiritual blessings of the great Chartres Pilgrimage taking place at the same time in France.
More than 750 pilgrims gathered with Institute canons, oblates, and Sister Adorers at the trailhead early in the morning. Then, buoyed by Canon Benoît Jayr’s opening prayer and words of encouragement, they began their 4.5-mile walk through the fields, hills, and woods of Wisconsin.
Their walk was blessed with sparkling clear skies, while the dappled shadows of the thickets offered welcome shade from the bright sunshine. With banners flying and rosaries in hand, they processed with prayer, song, and enthusiastic joy.
More than 750 pilgrims gathered with Institute canons, oblates, and Sister Adorers at the trailhead early in the morning. Then, buoyed by Canon Benoît Jayr’s opening prayer and words of encouragement, they began their 4.5-mile walk through the fields, hills, and woods of Wisconsin.
Their walk was blessed with sparkling clear skies, while the dappled shadows of the thickets offered welcome shade from the bright sunshine. With banners flying and rosaries in hand, they processed with prayer, song, and enthusiastic joy.
Upon reaching the base of Holy Hill and after a brief rest stop, the pilgrims completed the final leg of the journey: the rosary walk up the hill to the beautifully restored basilica, where they entered in grand procession.
The glorious Solemn High Mass of the Vigil of Pentecost was then offered by Canon Matthew Talarico, provincial superior, together with Canon Aaron Huberfeld, vice superior, and Canon Gerald Bell of St. Mary Oratory. The sublime music of the choir of St. Stanislaus Oratory, directed by Fabian Qamar, further enhanced the magnificent liturgy.
As in Chartres, after Mass the pilgrims processed to the altar rails to venerate a priceless relic of the Veil of the Blessed Mother, displayed near a beautiful statue of Our Lady of Fatima statue.

Fatima Pilgrimage
October 10-19, 2026
Join Canon Raphael Ueda in commemorating the 109th anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fátima, with visits to related apparition sites in Galicia, Spain. This pilgrimage also includes the seaside town of Nazaré, the Eucharistic Miracle site of Santarém, Braga, and Lisbon, birthplace of Saint Anthony of Padua. Youth Summer Camps
St. Michael's Patrol Camp in California
The Institute’s annual California summer camp, St. Michael’s Patrol, for fathers and sons (ages 6-18), is currently enrolling.
The camp features genuine fun and recreation that builds both body and soul according to the Tradition of the Catholic Church, including sports, games, Rosary processions, and of course daily Mass in the Traditional Latin Rite.

A Word from the Sister Adorers
First Communions
At the beginning of the month dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, sixteen young children had the grace to receive their First Holy Communion at St. Mary’s Oratory in Wausau. The Sister Adorers had the privilege to prepare these young souls during catechism classes this past year.
O Sacred Banquet, wherein Christ is received; the memory of His Passion is renewed; the mind is filled with grace; and a pledge of future glory is given to us. Alleluia!
