Christ's Prayer
Dear Friends in Christ our King,
Tomorrow, we enter into the Holy Triduum.
On the first Maundy Thursday, the newborn Church seemed completely overturned: the apostles had just received their First Communion and priestly ordination, yet almost immediately Judas betrayed Our Lord, Peter denied Him, and the others fled in fear while He suffered in agony. Even some who had once followed Him turned against Him.
Christ came precisely to set right what had been disordered. Through His obedience unto death, He established the Cross, the priesthood, and the Holy Eucharist as the enduring means of restoring the true order of love. This true order has the love of God and neighbor triumph over selfishness. Even amid widespread failure, a small band of the faithful remained, sustained above all by Christ’s prayer in the Garden, a prayer that extended beyond that night to uphold the Church throughout every age of trial, weakness, and renewal.
That same prayer of Christ continues in the Holy Mass, instituted at the Last Supper as the Church’s living and public worship. In the liturgy, Christ remains truly present and continues to intercede for His people, applying the fruits of His Passion across time. Each Mass makes present His sacrifice and lifts a fallen world back toward God, offering grace to overcome sin and the distortions of false loves.

For this reason, do not fall to discouragement, but to confidence! Assist devoutly at Mass and carrying its graces into daily life, you cooperate in restoring all things in Christ. Placing the Holy Mass at the center of life, you are strengthened to persevere, following the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the faithful disciples, until the fullness of God’s order is revealed in the life to come.

2026 Pentecost Pilgrimage
to the Basilica of Our Lady Help of Christians
Save the date! The Holy Name Society of St. Stanislaus Oratory in Milwaukee is hosting the annual Pentecost Pilgrimage to the Basilica Shrine of Our Lady Help of Christians at Holy Hill in Wisconsin on Saturday, May 23, 2026. All are invited to participate!
Please note: This year, at the conclusion of the walking pilgrimage, a Solemn Mass will be celebrated in the Main Basilica.

Youth Summer Camps
Sursum Corda
Registration is now open for the annual National Sursum Corda Young Adult Retreat. Young adults ages 18-35 are invited to join for a weekend of daily Mass, Adoration, the opportunity for confession and spiritual direction, and daily spiritual conferences. New this year is an optional add-on day for kayaking and recreation!

St. Michael's Patrol Camp in California Now Enrolling
The Institute’s annual California summer camp, St. Michael’s Patrol, for fathers and sons (ages 6-18), is currently enrolling.
The camp features genuine fun and recreation that builds both body and soul according to the Tradition of the Catholic Church, including sports, games, Rosary processions, and of course daily Mass in the Traditional Latin Rite.

Ordinations Week Pilgrimage
