If we misuse and abuse the time which is given to us now, we may lose all chance of ever being reunited with our loved ones again in heaven. We have one life to live and so let us live it well: for the glory of God, for the good of our neighbor, and for the sake of the loved ones gone before us.
Every prayer, every act of charity in word or deed, every patient word, brings us closer to our heavenly home, closer to that blessed company of the saints and loved ones who are waiting for us there!
Let us then go to the cemetery often especially this November. That visit may bring us to tears, but it will give us peace and reassurance, as we remember those words of Jesus: Happy are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Assuring you of my prayers, especially for intentions of the poor souls, I remain,
Yours faithfully in Christ our King,
